In January of 2018, the Big Bird aerial team and I wandered out to the bush to help New York director Dan DiFelice (Instagram) and New York director of photography Khalid Mohtaseb (Instagram) capture some beautiful aerials of Wildebeasts in South Africa for the new Sony A7 featuring Manuel Neuer. Additionally, we serviced a tracking vehicle with the Big Bird Dragon Arm vehicle. It was quite a task, filming naturally skiddish animals, with the Freefly Systems Alta 8 aircraft and Movi Pro stabilized gimbal, purchased from Film Gear South Africa.
