In January of 2018, the [Big Bird](https://www.bigbird.tv/?ref=robweidner.com) aerial team and I wandered out to the bush to help New York director [Dan DiFelice](http://www.dandifelice.com/?ref=robweidner.com) ([Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/dandifelice/?hl=en&ref=robweidner.com)) and New York director of photography [Khalid Mohtaseb](https://www.khalidmohtaseb.com/?ref=robweidner.com) ([Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/khalidmohtaseb/?hl=en&ref=robweidner.com)) capture some beautiful aerials of Wildebeasts in South Africa for the new [Sony A7](https://www.sony.com/electronics/interchangeable-lens-cameras/ilce-7-body-kit?ref=robweidner.com) featuring Manuel Neuer. Additionally, we serviced a tracking vehicle with the Big Bird [Dragon Arm](https://www.bigbird.tv/custom-rigs/?ref=robweidner.com) vehicle. It was quite a task, filming naturally skiddish animals, with the [Freefly Systems](https://freeflysystems.com/?ref=robweidner.com) Alta 8 aircraft and Movi Pro stabilized gimbal, purchased from [Film Gear South Africa](https://www.filmgear.co.za/?ref=robweidner.com). South Africa production company, [Farm Films](http://www.farmfilm.tv/?ref=robweidner.com). Some behind the scenes photos below 😄
