Rob Weidner is an American aerial and ground camera operator based in Cape Town, South Africa. After training in the United States film industry, Rob made the move to South Africa to pursue his passion. Since then, Rob has focused on aerial and remote camera operation working with the industry-standard Freefly, Shotover, and cinema-grade camera systems. Rob has worked on projects such as Marvel's Black Panther, Sonic The Hedgehog, Maze Runner 3, and BBC's Our Girl TV series. Additionally, Rob has worked with world-class brands such as BMW, Porsche, and The Springboks.
