Hope Joanna

Back in December of 2017, I travelled up to Johannesburg with the legendary aerial team from 18mm/Big Bird with pilot Wesley Green and safety officer Tammy Green to shoot for one of the best production companies in South Africa, Bomb Commercials.  When we originally heard the brief for the commercial, I was at first worried about the cultural intensity of the content of the job, but now seeing the final cut, it is clear that Teboho and Motheo had a clear vision of what they were trying to say, and the positivity shines throughout the 2 minutes.

I was the aerial camera operator shooting on the RED Scarlet with Arri Master Primes on the rock-solid Freefly Systems Movi Pro/Alta 8 combination for the gimbal and drone.  I used the Wooden Camera Zip Box, with Tiffen IRND filters, Futaba 14SG controller, Amimon Connex, and Atomos Shogun Flame for my playback and viewing monitor.
